Hi All, I have 285/35/22 on my sport at moment, can I get away with a 45 profile tyre ?.
Thanks, and merry Christmas to all members. Phil

Seeing as how the largest standard wheel fitted to a sport is 20" Keith has a valid point. Fitting 45s would certainly be a good way of contributing to the speed camera operators Christmas fund.

With tyres you have fitted now on 22" rims. Your indicated speed will be slightly less than actual road speed. If you fit 45s at an indicated 30 and 60 mph respectively your actual road speed will be just over 33 and 66 mph. Both scenarios are illegal because since 2001 the actual road speed can be 10% less than indicated but not more.

For wishing us Merry Christmas in November, he deserves to contribute weekly for a year ;)

Any vehicle wearing the Range Rover badge shouldn't be allowed to have elastic bands as tyres!

But 'tis a sport so what ya expect! ;)
