two questions really:
1. Has anyone done this type of trip previously? I'm looking at taking my dad and cousin over to france and meeting up with my brother and doing a bit of a tour of the sights of WWII apart from suggestions are there any good green lanes that can be recommended?
2. (this will probably be a can of worms, so here goes) Not being a stranger to land rovers (disco 1), high fuel consumption (E46 328) I'm intending on getting a Disco 2 next year when i'm back in the UK and would like a Td5 but have been looking at a LPG fitted V8. I live in plymouth so plenty of LPG garages and I only commute daily to the dock yard when not away so not mega trips (would short trips damage a Td5, i.e. DPF type stuff?) I have read the fors and against, but i'm sat on the fence and would just like to hear from anyone who has a LPG D2 or experience of both?
