Newbie to the forum so hi!

Im looking at buying a 2014 Defender 90. I notice it doesn't have a DSC button on the dash, does this mean it doesnt have it or its just not disable-able?

rule of thumb, if it doesn't have the button it wasn't fitted with it

Fairly sure defenders don't have DSC... mine doesn't...

No button for the traction control.
Insert key and turn on ignition and check dash panel if there are abs and tc lights illuminated you have it, if not then it's not fitted.
To disable you can try starting the engine and very quickly (10 x in 5 secs seems to be the rate) press and release the brake pedal the two lights will illuminate on the dash and abs and tc will be disabled until you switch off the engine.
This method of disabling it seems to be very hit or miss though.
