Hello All
Been reading one or two forums, specifically referring to the Oil Pump Housing.
I've read a few times about the problems with older models and the upgraded unit that has been beefed up somewhat. No idea of the exact changes; just "Beefier".
My query is around the timing belt tensioner Torque, I recently bought an updated Repair / Service etc Manual, which include's the 2013 onwards SDV6.
Does anybody know if the torque value has increased or remained (here's the silly bit) as per the manual at 23Nm.
Thanks. Mick

Hi, according to the WSM published in 2017 for the 2013 modell the belt tensioner is to 26Nm, 23Nm is the camshaft bolt, see "Instalation" step 4

Oil pump casing being modded relates to the 2.7 engine, the casting was to weedy and some heavy handed mechanic would over tighten the cambelt tensioner bolt, this over time would allow the pump casting to fail chucking the cambelt off, wrecking the engine.
