Thanks mate. Just to confirm, do you recommend a new EGR valve, or the EGR VALVE REPAIR KIT, LR082289?
If you've proven the EGR valve returns to its at rest position, and the wiring has been tested through to the ECM, then you only need the vacuum actuator.
 
Also. Be aware that any new components on the air intake system need to be calibrated using JLR SDD, as the ECM won't know the parameters of the new components, so it needs to learn them using the software.
