Hi I have 2010 TD4 and want to know will it cause any damage to electric's if I use the landrover plug in kit as I have a 200 mile round trip to dealers. I will get them to set the computer the next time I am down, but need the towbar asap!!!!!!

Thanks

I'm a little confused by the question.

Whuts a plug in kit?

The programming in of the towbar is merely a configuration file change in the CJB (body control module) and to 'activate' the Towing Electrics Control Module. It needs this to disable rear pdc, rear foglights etc etc whilst your towing electrics is connected.

If you plug and play your towing electrics in, if they work , its fine , if they dont, then c'est la vie. I know the earlier ones work on single electrics without configuration , but im unsure as to twin electrics.

I'm pretty sure <10MY works as such, but not so sure on post.

Hope that helped to whatever your question was :p

Ah.... they mean they want your car for an hour :)

Its a booking slot, it means they cant guarantee your car going into the workshop the second you book it in. Its used for waiting jobs normally. 30 minute slot is a bulb or a wiperblade kind of thing, an hour slot is for anything around the 20 minute mark, which is about what it takes to complete.

Hi Thanks

plug it all in even the fuses , nothing will work until after its software update.[/QUOTE]:)
