Hi all just wondering if someone could share some light on my little issue.

I recently put a 200tdi disco engine in my 90 and when i first started it it wouldnt turn off so pulled the live off the solenoid and still kept running so had to stall the engine

So i started by putting a new solenoid on then had the same issue so i wired a direct feed from battery on a switch but still happening.

Any advice will be appreciated

does solenoid click ,and is plunger fited right they have a habit of dropping out when fitting new solenoid

I think its fitted right but will pull it out and have a look now.
