Hi guys, I'm new on here. I've got a defender 90 200tdi. had an absolute nightmare with it this year! 2 Cylinderheads, fans, half shafts,cv joints, alternator, all sorts!!! And I'm still in love with her now just to ad to 2009s problems my turbos failed! Therefore filling the airbox up with oil and leaking everywhere and also at high revs it's runs on it's own oil lol. Now does anyone have a spare turbo I could buy from them?? Or does anyone know about repairing them?

2 cylinder heads in 1 year? i'd go back to the place that did it and tell em i want a new defender

Im with Gratch on this one ....... thats a Hell of a lot to go wrong in a yr - unless you rag the tits off it with no oil anywhere !!!!!! .

Ebay id go for for a rough guide .

btw does a garage look after it or do you do that yourself ?????? ..

.

Well haven't had it long, a friend of mine owned it before but I don't want to name and shame who looked after it. I now do it myself (picking up the pieces it seems) problem after problem. I don't rag it myself but I think it may of had a hard life before me

eBay have got a few but there miles away and I want it asap, I need the thing back in the road, that was why I wad kinda hoping someone may have one.

It defo sounds like your picking up the bits ..... with the probs your having with it , you might be better off getting another lump to put in it ?? .
what next cam belt snapping / fuel pump packing up .... how many miles it done and is it a Gen defender 200 or a disco 200 ?

BTW where are u in the UK as I know where there are 3 200tdi's in a scrappy close to me

Cheers guys, I have thought about a new engine. It's done 166000 and I believe it to be a gen defender. I'm in Bedfordshire any ideas?
