Are the 200tdi thermostats from paddocks ok at only £3.
I have read about waxstats but craddocks no longer get them

Buy a genuine one, aftermarket thermostats are notoriously unreliable.

Either just get it from Land Rover, or if you can find one, a pukka Waxstat branded one. I'm sure they're sold on eBay and the like.

The cheap ones are utter ****e.
As above I think I got the waxstat one from ebay

I went through three Paddock thermostats in three years. I ended up buying one from Bearmach which has now been in there for three years. Some of Paddocks stuff is OK but Thermostats and sender unites are not one of them.

I bought a Britpart one from Craddocks and that was a re-bagged waxstat
