Just finished rebuilding rear suspension on my 200tdi Disco, put it all back together now it’s not idling properly!

Runs and starts ok but when you rev it the engine slows right down and nearly stops, sometimes picks up but sometimes stalls!

Makes no sense- haven’t touched anything on the engine at all! Unless I disturbed something around fuel tank- breather hose maybe? It still does it with the fuel cap off though?! Any ideas??

How long since it last ran?
Have you caught / mashed a fuel line somewhere?

About a week since I last used it. Might have mashed a fuel line. Checked Haynes and I might have messed up the fuel sedimenter- that sound right?

yes if its disturbed it might very well be letting air in
