ps. sorry - that one was '93
i assume you need earlier for import rules
It has to be a 1991 or older, and that's the only one for sale. The owner doesn't have a title for it.There are a few on ebay - just search 'Discovery 200tdi' in the cars category. For example:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LANDROVER...696798?hash=item41a592355e:g:9dYAAOSwx-9WzxbI
Hopefully that helps

Out of interest, what does "without a title" mean?
The ebay one says "no paperwork" but the MOT only ran out 2 months ago.
The seller will have the V5 Reg document
Its been welded, but nothing about rust on its last few MOTs, but last one did say engine was smoking.
Mark
PS According to the MOT history check its done 174000 miles!!!
Beginning to sound more dodgy!!!
Very happy to help a cousin from over the pond!
Is it a Disco you want?
Can you import pre 1991 Defenders?
They seem to go for silly money in the US!
Despite the recent surge in prices Series 109s etc and Defenders are still quite reasonable.
An honest looking 1969 109" went for £3K a couple of days ago on Copart, and it was cat U, no damage!
Mark
Copart is (usually) where insurance write offs go for auction, its all online, 10000 cars a week are sold.
The 109 was just sold as a normal auction vehicle.
My mate in Estonia has just imported a Jag XKR bought from Copart in the USA, but Land Rovers on the USA site are very pricey!
A lot of cars are bought to Europe from the USA, usually four at a time in a single container!
Older MGs, Triumph, Jags from dry states are popular, XKE,s are now silly money for "barn finds".
The expense for you will be shipping, but Im sure it wont be too much, probably $1-2K
How much are you looking at spending? And where have you got to get it to port wise?
