Hi guys
I just wondered what you are all getting mpg wise, i'm getting about 35 mpg std gearbox and transfer box and 3.54 diffs :)

My 200 disco and defender would do a pretty easy 30 mpg, no idea what the series does as I do not use it often enough to work it out!

I'm yet to mot the Ninety after it's 200tdi conversion but both of our 200tdi Disco's could manage nearly 40mpg on a run if that helps?

for the record, I'm going 1.2:1 transfer box in the ninety to try & copy the Disco gearing:cool:

Rich.

Obviously a diesel then. 35mpg is pretty good for a series. My petrol S3 109 station wagon might get 20mpg down a steep hill but less than that generally.

My pretty much standard 90 with 200tdi does about the 30 mpg, lot of small road up/down the box driving. A series is a fair bit lighter than 90/110 and that will help with the mileage.

Should have taken the turbo off and fitted it as a 20di like me.....once fully warm and on a run 40+png.
Looks so much more tidy under the bonnet and in keeping.

And its plenty fast enough for a cart sprung landrover.

Two wheel drive as well.

Mine does twenty quids worth each visit. If I use it a lot the visits are more regular. If I leave it on the drive the visits to the station seem to slow down.
Hope that helps.
