Yeah just the tip left... Just a bit too far for any combination of long tweezers... Needle nose pliers... Even just sucking it out with an oil filler pump...

I'm hoping running it up helps... Only restricted as needs a water pump before I can really take it for a spin. Monday or Tuesday will be the day!
 
I told a mate to do this exact same thing years ago on a corsa diesel, form memory it took at least a week of his regular running about before it blew out.
 
Oh wow, that long! Well, it'll give me something to stress about until it resolves itself ... :( let's hope it happens soon
 
I had a stuck injector on my 200 no4 and I drove around with the clamp loose for weeks, in between commutes and duck oil and forcing with a spanner it gave up, but it was a struggle, I reckon I covered at least 3/400 miles.

I've the same issue on the Mrs' megane I think I'll have to do this but how loose do you leave it lol
 
I just left the nut clear of the clamp bracket so a quick visual tells you if its moved.
Where I used to work the van guys always had issues getting nissan van injectors out and they used renault engines, every now and then they had to get a mobile guy in with some sort of hydraulic puller for the job.
According to the van guys the scuttle panel/drip tray allowed water to drip onto one of the injectors causing it to seize.
 
Just been for a run out in the 90 today... still running super smooth but no sign of that glow plug tip releasing itself. It's been up to temp for around 30 miles, I guess it's a wait and see kind of game. It'll get loads of use running back and forth to Keith Gott for a few spares for the rest of the vehicle anyway...
 
Hi, can someone please help me with this one appears that I have broken the glow plug at the tip (see photo). I am unable to get it out.
Anyone have advice?

A few of the workshops Ive worked in get a mobile injector remover guy out when we broke injectors or couldn't get a seized one out, costs a couple of hundred quid but Im sure there are people out there who will do it for less, google is your friend to find one.
 
In the pic it looks to me that it is broken at the point where it enters the head, this is a different job needing an extractor of sorts.
