hi Guys. Bit of a weird question.
I have a 1994 200mpi and was wondering how much it’s worth. I cannot find one for sale anywhere. I know that they were rubbish and there’s no arguing about that but they seem to be gettin more rare. Sorry if it’s a rubbish post. Cheers

At that age, I should think condition is the main deciding factor in value, what's it like?

It’s tidy inside and Been kept in a shed for about a year so a tad dusty. Cosmetically its straight and square as it should be really. The engine doesn’t use much oil or blue smoke. It has done 130000 miles. I just want to know exactly what I’m looking at in value.

I don't think there's any 'exact' value for a 24 yr old vehicle, it's going to be about who is looking for it that particular time and the condition. I'd say less than a diesel of similar age and condition. A brand new MOT for a vehicle that old would be the best thing for getting the best price. Maybe look at what V8 in that spec and condition is going for and that will be a ball park.

Ok thank you. The reason I ask this question is that I cannot find one online for sale. I have been told they are rare. For a good or bad reason I do not know. Usually rare means good value and was wondering if this would be the case

Rare means good value if someone wants them, D1’s in general aren’t really in that place yet I don’t think. Most are rotting towards the scrap heap or being bashed to bits at pay and play sites, maybe once all those are gone the remaining few may become desirable but I’m not holding my breath.

I would love to think that one day it would actually be worth something but il agree with you on not holding your breath. The one I own doesn’t actually have much rust on it. The previous owners apparently dry stored it aswell as I. I think like you said il have to sit patiently for people to Destroy or scrap them before I’m in with a chance
