Ok so I finally did what I should of done a year or more ago and got rid of the TD6 and bought a TDV8,
What a difference, like chalk and. Cheese, I absolutely love it, so much more refined and quiet than the old smoker.
It’s just turned 100,000 miles and is in really good condition, barely a mark on it and the interior is like brand new.
Only issue I’ve found is a slight weep from the power steering pipe going to or coming back from the cooler.
I can see it very slowly building up to be a drip but obviously with driving it will be more.
Anyone replaced the cooler or managed to do a fix on the pipe? It’s where it’s clipped in with a plastic clip on the n/s of the engine underneath, , looks like the clip is to tight and movement has worn the metal pipe away
