Hi there. Had a no start issue with me l322 (jag engine) in the summer where it would not start after I parked for an hour. Went through some test on electrical and determined it must be the fuel pump. Replaced the pump in July and all was good. Fast forward to this week and the car stalled while underway. Could not get it running then and have not been able to make headway since I had it towed back. Relays and fuses looks good. Fuel pump plug looks good as well (no melting). It cranks like a champ but I cannot get it started again. I should also note that the screen gives me a transmission fault and has been for a few months. Any thoughts?

Welcome first :) .

Not familiar with the engine, Fuel pump plug ok but is the pump running and do you have pressure at the rail?

Then move on to, do you have a spark? are the plugs wet after trying to start?

Maybe it wanted the transmission fault fixed so has just thrown its dummy ;).
Do you have any diagnostics?

Assuming it's petrol as its 4.4 on 08 so as marjon says, have a look at a plug see if its wet.
Could be a million and one things so diag first before anything can be considered.
