Im sure will. And she will age well...............
Well I have now done my 3rd trip and suspension fault not appeared once, over 100 miles covered and nothing so far. Maybe she has decided to right her self. LolHi guys,
Need some help/advice on my RR L322 2007 TDV8. I took it to a range rover specialist about 10 days ago who I always use, I had the front control arms replaced. Ever since then (not every time it's driven) I get "suspension fault max speed 30" suspension drops on to stops and all led suspension lights disappear. Turn engine off and back on and lights all come back on and all seems ok.
Suspension lifts and lowers all ok not slow or anything. Had a look at compressor and muffler all clean and all looks good, would say compressor was renewed not long before I purchased vehicle (3yrs ago next month). Checked balance on 4x4 info screen all looks ok. Should the suspension need recalibrating after having control arms done? I don't no but if there was a major fault somewhere it would do it every time it's driven? I may be totally wrong there. I'm thinking maybe height sensors? It doesn't drop over night or anything.
Any help would be much appreciated. I'm also going to phone the garage tomorrow and see what they say about it. But I have found this forum very helpful so I thought I would start with you guys.
Cheers
They do self heal, not often but they do.Well I have now done my 3rd trip and suspension fault not appeared once, over 100 miles covered and nothing so far. Maybe she has decided to right her self. Lol
That's interesting that, they certainly can be bit of a minefield. Will deffiantly keep an eye on it and see how it goes but so far so good. This is the first problem I have had so been lucky so far. Hope yours is still going good. will let garage know about the problem. Cheers mate i try my best to keep her looking good. I have thought about selling her but then when I drive I change my mind. They do self heal, not often but they do.
When mine went wonky i cleared the fault and immediately came back, tried again and again and i think after the 3rd or 4th attempt the error (mine was HDC, ABS, EAS and the brakes would apply themselves as soon as i tried to move which was interesting) and then nothing, fault went away and has never been back.
Just keep an eye on it, might even be worth mentioning it to the garage just so the fault is logged against their repair.
Good luck
Very nice, clean vehicle you have there.
Haha that's a very good way of putting it, I like that. LolThey do hook you in, just remember it is like marrying a supermodel that is getting on a bit but wants to stay looking 21 and has some serious mental health issues - but i like a challenge
