Hello and good evening, I have just joined your family of lovers and enthusiasts of all things Land Rover.

I need a new battery for my 06 vogue TD6, had the usual warnings, left it for a week while I was in holiday recently, came back, HDC Fault, loss of abs, traction control, etc,etc the usual, so need a new battery and I’m looking for recommendations? I’m not sure of the AH, some seem to say 100AH, some say 110AH, same with the cold cranking, 850-900 and 950, so thought the best place to ask is here. Thank you.

Oh i thought someone stole your battery..

Wrong sexsion.

Try posting in the Range Rover section, in the l322 subforum.

120AH 1000CCA fits (just) and is the way to go. It will last longer and give a greater margin in cold weather.
No connection, but Battery Megastore do a Hankook battery of that size at a good price.

I have just seen that LUCAS now offer a lifetime guarantee.
Links the battery to your car (reg number needed) and you.
So you only need one battery for as long as you own that vehicle...
Just a thought...

So how does it work, if like me, you have a plate you take to your new vehicle? For example, if I got a newer Range Rover, with the same type battery?
