Hello, I'm rather new to the forum, and have my first Range Rover. it's a 2006 HSE, and yesterday the air came out of the front suspension. I figure it has a leak and needs replacement. Does anyone have an opinion on whether to replace the airbags (if that is indeed the issue) or just replace with standard shocks and coil over springs? Thoughts?

I'm new here too.. and even I know that you will shortly be shot, many, many times, to the torso and face. Everyone has an opinion on this and the opinion is generally there is no question - sort the airbags.

Springs on a RangeRover are not the done thing.

Haha

Change the whole system to springs, ruin the car and most likely just because of a simple fault
Lol

I love the air suspension on my P38, but it's so complicated on the L322 I could be tempted by springs.

Just fix the leak, presumably its lasted 9 years, coils are for Defenders, don't ruin it.

Oh lord yes !!

Really? Obviously you have not read rs2000 customs thread. :p

spoke to dave (rs2000custom) a couple of weeks ago(hes only 10 mins from me)about this subject as I had a l322 in for a job which needed a new amp, hedgehog & eas probs. when I plugged it in fault came up with the dreaded static when filling:eek:.simple enough fix but part is stupid money & tbh stupid idea.not worth risking a s/h one.anyway:focus: l322 on coils:lol::lol::Dwhatever floats ur boat:eek:

Bloody hell, fitting coils is like being in bed with a page three model and putting a bag over her head because her mascaras run.

Just get it diagnosed and fix it, could be really simple, I can't imagine what it would do to the L322's brains by removing a load of kit and other ECU's not having the air suspension to talk to.
My 2004 went to pieces because a number plate bulb failed.

I'm sure somebody has done it before but the ride quality and adaptive suspension are what make a range rover a range rover in my opinion.
