Need some help with LCM coding please.

I have replaced the faulty LCM with one from a 2002 V8. The replacement LCM worked fine but kept saying check dipped beam so I got it recoded by someone local (free of charge) and now the side lights won't work and it keeps saying check brake lights. I have bought a PA Soft BMW scanner and it looks like I can recode the LCM if I can work out which bit of data to change. Anyone know which memory addresses to change and value to write please?
Guessing I need to turn side lights on, and turn brake light test off due to being LED.

Current code

Ideally you need to read the original LCM and save to a file...then replace with the new one and write the old information over to the new one....

Thanks @Saint.V8. I couldn't talk to the old LCM with my Foxwell so probably can't with this one either, If I can't get the coding info or a copy of someones working code :) I will give it a try.

Need some help with LCM coding please.

I got it recoded by someone local (free of charge) and now the side lights won't work and it keeps saying check brake lights.

This is a problem when someone offers to do things for free, it genrally means they have a cable but dont know what they are doing fully

Happy to plug this is and sort it for you but i would charge £30 i am based in liverpool

I may nip down to my local indi on Saturday and see if I can pull the code off one of theirs and look for the differences.

Just tried the old LCM and no I can't talk to it.
Then the 'official' way is to get Land Rover to install the LCM information based on their records of your VIN number and what the LCM would have loaded with from the factory....

Failing that, get someone to code it to your vehicle spec - including VIN, and mileage information (as the LCM holds a copy of the vehicle mileage in it)

I've already done the mileage, I'll do the VIN at weekend and hopefully get my local indi to do the code while he's doing my new key, if it's arrived yet.

We have a long standing tradition on LandyZone that we don't charge each other for help.

Doing so is considered very bad form indeed

I personally will do anything (within reason) to help anyone FOC as long as it doesn't cost anything other than my time and maybe a bit of fuel.

Aye, we offer free advise 'ere if ya want to charge fook 'orf..

And £30 to plug in a cable, thats a right kick in the bollix.
