Little Ols Me

A few weeks back I changed my mates boost control solenoid to cure an overboosting issue and all seemed great. Now it has started playing up again, it is lumpy and returning P1E30. It is a 2005 TD4.
The fault will not clear so is obviously permanent. When I first plugged in the reader there were 5 faults and all cleared except the P1E30. I took it for a drive and no other faults returned but P1E30 will not clear.
The strange thing is that the fault will not clear with the engine stopped. If it was a boost issue (under or over) or stuck turbo vains etc. the ECU wouldn't know until the engine started so I am guessing it must be the new boost control solenoid or a wiring issue to the solenoid. Does anyone know what resistance the solenoid coil should be and which 2 pins of the ECU run the solenoid?
Any other ideas? Thanks
