Hi
My 2005 freelander keeps blowing f5 in the engine bay, its for the fuel burning heater, it's also for the engine management and fuel pump but it starts and runs fine but could do with the FBH working this weather, any ideas anyone.

Where are you based i know a chap that might be able to help, he used to rebuild FBH and fit them to R40 FL1 Range rovers etc, its a bumper off job to do the job properly and or the passengers side wheel arch liner.

Hi artic 2 thanks for the reply, i'm in Grantham Lincs.
I can live with it for now as dont want to spend too much on it spent enough already, but how come if the fuse also supplies the engine management and fuel pump why does it still run ?

Not sure unless the fuse is for the FBH pump in the rear wheel arch, and it's shorting out, maybe try unplugging the FBH and see if the fuse is ok after if so it's the FBH that's tripping it.

F5 only does the FBH, nothing else in the vehicle.
Vehicles without a FBH don't have F5, but everything else works just fine. ;)
