check there is power at both sides of fuse 49 in fuse box, connectors might need cleaning.also get a couple of these I throw 1 in each rear quarter every 6 months or so & never have any probs ;)

And I thought I was the only voice crying in the wilderness.:)

It's 2004 so I assume it's not a P38 Alan, in which case the burning fuse box may not apply.
I cannot remember what I had for breakfast Keith never mind what I posted four years ago, hang on, the Enemy has just brought me cereal, pancakes and a cuppa. And I thought I was loosing the plot.:)

Ah ha you lovely people ,disconnected sat nav hey presto ! Then removed the unit and yep full of water so it's now in airing cupboard and I have indicators etc

If the SatNav was full of water, it is very unlikely it will recover, judging by the experience of a friend who ended up replacing his more than once when, despite all sorts of preventative measures, it kept getting wet.

Land Rover will sell you a plastic sheet (I kid you not) to cover it over.

Just got the same problem although I do have a burning smell. Disconnected satnav and changed fuse 49 and still no change. Satnav was soaked.

Am going to use a dehumidifier to suck out any moisture and see where I can go from there. Fingers crossed it does the trick.

Just dismembered my entertainment system from the car due to water damage! Indicator telltale inop and stereo not working. As soon as I started taking the sat nav unit out, when it tipped sideways it discharged a load of water straight into the units below!
Once all removed the indicators were back to normal. All the boxes are now sat next to a radiator drying out before I see if the are any good again.
