Hey guys,

I'm quite new here. I was wondering if you could give me your thoughts on this. I have a 2004 Freelander 2.5L V6 Rover engine and the car is in pretty good shape and has 168000 km on. Now i'm thinking of trading it for a 2003 Discovery with 4.6L V8 and 168000 km. Do you think it's wise? If so why so, if not, why not? Many thanks guys. I appreciate all your helpful comments.

Do you have a big wallet for fuel? V6-v8
V8's are very temperamental!!
And could end up hitting you hard in the pocket.
They only like Lucas parts and are not cheap!!

It's down to preference really.

Thanks guys for your comments.

4.6 disco?
Yes, it's a 4.6L V8. I think it's a Discovery II. I don't drive much and usually use it for around town. Do you guys know if this model and year of discovery has a lot of issues or not? (eg. engine, rack and pinon, electrical, windows' regulator, etc.) or if it's even worth the trade?
