Hi Guys/Girls can any one help?

Td6 l322 range rover it's lacking power/limp mode when cold had no fault codes Disconnect MAF it runs like a dream, so swapped it out, but its the same with new one, unplug it runs fine but I now have fault for low side rail pressure. Smoked it for boost leaks,no probs, checked live data fuel pressure seems good but maf is reading 660 but asking for 440. Could this be a faulty maf or is there something I'm overlooking? have fitted new fuel filter but made no difference. I now have code p1260 Replaced battery and the low pressure external pump but still the same any clues live data shows fuel pressure fine on high and low side I'm at a loss on this any help please

Thanks

Sounds like your old and new MAF's are both U/S then?
Was the replacement a cheap one made out of finest Chinesium?

Turbo control is a bit complicated on the L322, I think there is still a MAP sensor, so that would be worth checking.

I think they have he same as the x5 with the secondary pump, a friend on mine had similar issues with his x5 and turned out to be the second pump at fault. When it was replaced it went like a rocket.

Look at MAP sensor only thing MAF is for is EGR and IAT measurement.
Hence why I said EGR issues....he said there was a marked difference when the MAF was unplugged, but a replacement MAF did not solve the issue - if the MAF assists with EGR operation, then logic would suggest what it controls needs investigation.

Thanks guys your amazing, Fitted a new Map Sensor today, and it runs lovely, try it out over the next few days, see if thats it.
