Now this might be a super simple question, but I can't find any online guidance...my DS electric window has stopped working and I'm trying to troubleshoot. Fuses are ok so my next port of call is the switch...how the hell do you get it out? Is there anyway to do so without dismantling the dash?

Thanks

looking at image of replacement switch there are tabs not sure if they are top and bottom

Thanks...I’ve looked at some pics of the switches but still not clear if you can get them out from the front or the dash needs to be dismantled to get access from the rear...

i 'm assuming that they are the same as the Freelander and they just pull forward out of the holder shown in the image and are retained by a spring barb to cause a resistance fit as shown

It’s no big deal to remove the centre console, Take the end caps off the dash then remove the screws and take off the dash top rail.
This gives access to the top screws on the centre console and you can then remove it.

I took my window switches out last week to check them.
Just release the radio, mine was held in with two 2 or 3 mm allen screws, pull the radio out, you don't have to disconnect any of the wires and poke the switch out from the back with your finger.
