2003 TD4 Front Bull Bar - Help!!
Hi Everyone!
Firstly, a new owner of a 2003 FL TD4 Diesel Auto ( just wanted to say thanks to the countless posts about the Freelander in this section - was on the forums quite alot, and found out so much info on here from everyone, so just wanted to say thanks first! )
I've just got the Freelander, and it's the old style bumper, so wanted to put on a Bull Bar ( have attached a picture on here of the one I want )
I've done some digging around on the forums tonight, and seen the various links people have put down for purchasing one! There seem to be alot of this type in ''stainless steel''. Ideally, i'm after a black one, ( like in the pic ) as I think they look quite smart - and my '03 TD4 is in a dark blue colour, so I think it would go really well! I'm doing other bits and pieces, but just wanted to ask everyone if they know of a ''cheaper'' place to get one.
At the moment, it looks as though it's around £300 which is a little out of my price range, as I've just had to fork out to get 4 new tyres, VCU done, and also the rear diff centre bush, so it's been an expensive week! ( And the Ron Box ) but i think that thing is worth it's weight in GOLD!!
If anyone knows of a cheaper place to get one of those black bull bars, or indeed has one that they don't mind parting with for ££'s, then please let me know! Any ideas would be most grateful, and thanks again to everyone ( especially in this section ) for all the posts over the last few months!
