Yes you may be right as it has no effect on the performance of the old bus, maybe just have to try to pinpoint it over time, front brake pads next!

Still coming up with the transfer fault prog alert but never ever does anything and motor drives perfect but still no answers, maybe I will have to pop into the stealars to see what they say as need to get an answer sometime to this conundrum?

I take it testing the motor as shown in the link to RRPhil’s post above didn’t reveal anything ?

Maybe have to get the stepper motor off and check resistance as all other visuals work ok

I think you can test it from the main ECU box of tricks under the bonnet, you are basically connecting to the other end of the wiring loom attached to the motor
