Hey guys and girls.

So i have a 2002 Range Rover HSE TD6 and the alternator has given up, so it needs to come out.

Doesn't look like it can just come out easily, looked on Youtube and cannot find a video on how to remove it either, so i was wondering if anyone could lead me in the right direction on getting it out. Thanks.

Buy a manual ;) :)

no youpube or tinterwebz :eek::D

... also get RAVE its a downloadable do dad that goes on the cumspewter :)

Can't afford one atm, hence the manual labour :( haha and yeah on that rave its not showing where to start or how to get to the alternator so not sure if that will help, Thanks for the reply, Appreciated.

Cannot afford one, also the RAVE does not explain how to get to the alternator :'(
My copy of RAVE certainly does tell you how to access and remove the Alternator on the Td6....and it is not as annoying to get at as the water cooled V8 version I had to do on mine last year!

When I get 5 minutes later I will see if I can post it up for you!

Here you go - now get RAVE as detailed by HC above :D:D:D
