ashcroft do it as i or most would with support across wings holding engine ,remove sub frame complete ,ird and lower to pull box off ,obviously with ramp and right tools , alot are worried that if you do simple repair ,they will be held responsible for all faults later,so sling in recon and shift responsibility,not so many like touching transmissions especially auto ,,some things in transmissions can involve complete strip down but some like reverse band are simple ,there are fewer people who rebuild things nowadays you either get poor fitter training or get a degree and dont get your hands dirty,i did a repair on l322 transfer box the other week dealer nobody at lr dealership knew how it worked
