I fitted an injector harness a little time ago and was thinking about a new section of loom that goes from that to the ecu. Can you buy just that bit or is it going to be a bit more involved?

After doing the injector loom, you really need to do the other engine loom as it is still full of oil and makes its way still into your ecu

I have tried to flush it with meths, its not too bad now. I was thinking it might have had something to do with my M and S lights flashing but going on what someone else has said on here it could be the XY switch on the gearbox. That sounds like a delight to do.

Hi i changed my loom today but the plug that plugs in under the harness broke (i broke it) it slips down and the engine cuts out i was thinking of getting a new plug and soldering it on existing wires is this my best bet? Or is the an easier soulotion im geussing id have to replace the whole engine loom to replace it propperly

you may be able to cable tie it in position as a temporary solution. If there's nothing to cable tie it to, some rtv or similar sealant may secure it while you sort out a new plug.

Do not cut & solder. Depending on plug, You can't anyway, You will need all the correct pins & crimp tool. It is an IP rated connector.

Send me a pic.

Oh - and change yo usercp so we know wherabouts you live.
