Hi, just gone to use car and key fob won't unlock doors or cancel alarm. can open door with key but doesn't cancel alarm. tried putting key in ignition but nothing and alarm still going off. Would a dead battery cause this. used car about 3 hrs before no problem..i changed battery in fob bu no joy(is there a correct procedure to change a battery) thanks

It's not the fob then, it might be the roof receiver, you'll need EKA code to be able to start it as long as the fob doesnt work, some ideeas about what can be the problem are in the attached bulletin, just read 433 instead of 315 when it's about frequency the rest is the same
