Only had the car a few weeks. Did the clutch hydraulics today. Full system and bracket from bearmac. I picked bearmach as I read their quality was good.

First.... I was fiddling for ages trying to get the master back in and I started noticing some fluid weeping as the master was turned 90'.... Arrragh
Finally got it in and secure and went to clip it to the pedal and the 0pistom was not there.... It was on the floor of the car.... It had fallen out. Poped it back in... It seemed to work but it's not secure.... Just tight on the master cylinder.

Got the rest assembled ok. Kept plastic clips till all fixed and snipped them. Went into car with engine off. Pressed pedal and it just hit the floor with no pop back.

Feck.

As I'm in Ireland a replacement will be at least a week.
Is there any way the Piston is designed to be removable? Can I use it?
Secondly... Is there any way to bleed the system if there is air and replace with dot4 or whatever it uses?

Any idea what the green clutch fuid is? I'd like to refill and bleed the air while I wait for a new system?

The system is sealed for life with some unspecified fluid. There's no filling needed or bleeding possible, other than pushing the slave cylinder in fully, while the master is hanging above it.

As nodge68 said you cant do anything with it
I put a new kit on mine last week but after a couple of days it was leaking at the pedal end
Was told by the supplier the seals were faulty and received a new replacement system

Gotcha, the system is hanging from ceiling with slave fully pressed in a few days. Was hoping it was green clutch hydraulic oil. Will leave it be then.
Dcunningham, you mind saying who the supplier is? I went bearmach but wondering if I should just go oem.
