Turned out to be either a split spill off pipe between 1 and 2 or the small hole and filter in the banjo bolt that connects the spill off pipe to the back of the injector pump, fixed both those so not sure which one it was.
kin ell... all that for a two minute job fixing it, three weeks off the road...:doh:
