Tried to fit the new intercooler that I purchased back in March for myDefender 200tdi rebuild

The issue I have it that it sits too high in the frame so I can not bolt the top cover down

would anyone be able to give me measurements of their 200tdi intercooler ?
Oh and before you ask the old one was binned along with the rotten radiator

This is one of the steps in my "How to swap out a 2.5TD for a 200Tdi spreadsheet"

"Cut down Radiator/intercooler lower mounts by 3cm - Welding"

I Purchased the intercooler as a new 200tdi one
although im not convinced as it sits to high
i just wanted measurement from another 200tdi one to copair against

Sorry, I misunderstood your original post.

You are replacing a 200Tdi intercooler for one that should be a 200Tdi but it's too tall.

Is it the same as a 300tdi one?

If so I will measure mine tonight for you

And i no longer have the original to measure against

Ive swapped a 200 for a 300 one before so thats not your issue

My 300 one is approx 420mm high
