Hi Steve yes Iβve replaced them one was a bit old but doesnβt seem to make a differenceDid you check as mentioned earlier the rubber leak off pipes between the injectors they can split at the joints where crimped on
No itβs just one unit sender is half way up the pick up pipe Iβm going to start again tomorrow morning and go through everything SLOWLY ONE THING AT A TIME.The pick up pipe is separate to the sender unit, isn't it?
Ok, pretty sure my son's has a separate pick up pipe, maybe because it's a Ninety? No itβs just one unit sender is half way up the pick up pipe Iβm going to start again tomorrow morning and go through everything SLOWLY ONE THING AT A TIME.
That's is what I do, personally I think you would need to try quite hard to get it wrong.Iβve seen on here that you can fit the lift pump wrong side of the cam? I have just unbolted the old one and put the new one in and tighten it up is that correct?
So Iβm I yes and straight to the injector pump Iβve tried so many different things Iβve forgotten what Iβve done had help from a great mate so I think weβve only got the pick up pipe in the tank to check but thatβs only 2 months old had problems with that as the float is sitting on the baffling and not sowing when empty but thatβs a different story.
Also known as an agglomerator, but rarely called that as no bugger can spell it!
Or say it.Also known as an agglomerator, but rarely called that as no bugger can spell it!
Hi everyone first of all i want to thank everyone who has been helping me out with my problem I have finally found the problem I replaced all of the pipe work still had air coming in from some where. I put a small rap of ptfe tape on the inlet of the lift pump compression joint. So far so good thanks again to everyone who helped
All the Britpart lift pumps we have fitted leak through the thread for the inlet and outlet pipes, I wrap the threads in ptfe tape (rightly or wrongly)
Might have been mentioned before!Hi everyone first of all i want to thank everyone who has been helping me out with my problem I have finally found the problem I replaced all of the pipe work still had air coming in from some where. When I had air getting in to my fuel system it was the elbow on top of the tank that had a crack in it.Have you checked the pick up pipe in tank for splits
Happy days, seems like the culprit was the pick up pipe then, was it new? Can't remember.Hi all so far so good
