After fitting a re con engine, then having the gearbox and transfer box re conned, I was left with a major vibration at tickover, it went through the floor panels, bulkhead, steering wheel, roof panel, pretty much everywhere.
After trying sound deadening, then playing with the fuel pump, neither did any good, so after never having a 200tdi before I assumed its how they are and put up with it for 8 months,
Then came across this,
New Engine Mounts Cure Vibration ? Nick's Land Rover - Series III rebuild and restoration
So I ordered the same mounts from Glencoyne 4x4, cost £40 for engine and gearbox, and the difference is like night and day,
probably the best money ive spent on the thing, the new mounts are so much softer than the first set of mounts I fitted, which although were new are obviously a crap rubber compound
