Hi, im doing a 200tdi conversion. i was wondering how many bits are interchangeable between the 2.5 N/A diesel engine and the 200 tdi

Not a lot. The head, injection pump, intact manifold, exhaust manifold are all totally different. The blocks are similar but the 200 has a different flywheel and additional reinforcement at the bottom. Alternator is compatible.

As well as the "how to" on this forum, have a look at the Glencoyne Engineering website - full of useful info. Is your TDi from a defender or Disco? I converted a standard NA to Disco TDi a couple of years ago. Steve Parker Engineering sell some excellent conversion bits - hoses etc. If you have power steering you will be able to use the box and pump, with mods to the hoses. The engine mounts bolt straight on to the new engine.

200tdi Landrover will swap easy. & mount to your 5 speed box.
A disco is a bit tighter on the turbo to passenger footwell. Mine fits snug.
Don't throw the NA engine out until you have fitted the tdi
Both these engines use the same engine/gearbox mount position if you use you 5dpeed box.
Have fun

When I did mine I re-used the starter motor, alternator, and power steering stuff and the pulleys. Nothing else fitted - fuel injection pump etc don’t work with the tdi

If you haven't sourced your engine yet, don't discount the 300tdi, other than welding on new engine mounts I think they may be easier to fit, especially if you are considering a 200tdi from a Discovery. The 300tdi will fit your existing gear box. As others have said have a good look on the Glencoyne Engineering web site, I found it invaluable when I converted mine.
