Hi all,

Just looking to move my air filter to allow for a diesel heater that I'm fitting, it's a 200tdi discovery engine in a Landy 90.

On the 300tdi the air filter is sat above the lift pump, on the 200its above the manifold.

My question is, will the mount for a 300tdi bolt to the same place on a 200tdi, I want to move it to give me more space. The mount I would be using is put of a 300tdi, pictures below.

Thanks all!

My 200tdi is an original Defender high turbo version. The Air filter housing is mounted on the downward slope of the NS wing behind the head lamp. Not a fan of the 300 system myself making lift pump hard to get to and the fact that the mount uses two of the head bolts to attach:rolleyes:

I'm pretty sure that, if you mount the air filter as per the 300, you will need to move the fuel filter off the bulkhead.

Can you put the 200 filter on the drivers side of the motor in the same place? (Where a left hand drive would be?

Or tight behind the head light?
Or stood up like a turbo diesel?

Think the header may be a pain but better than removing 2 head bolts
