Hi
I have a 200 Tdi which I have changed the bulk head two years ago. The problem I have is the brakes take a few pumps to get a sufficient brake. I have lived with this problem up until now but a recent detour into a ditch promted me to get the finger out !. I am unsure of the bulk head I have but think it could be a 300 tdi. The servo and master cylinder came along with the new bulk head. It has three ports on the master cylinder (two for the front and one for rear). I also have a compensator or g valve fitted for the back brake. I have drums on the rear axle. I am sure the brake problem is that the master cylinder does not deliver the correct volume for the drum brakes I have and could be designed for a all disc and caliper system.
I have compared the old master cylinder from the original bulkhead and is is considerably larger but with only two ports.
I would like to know if its just a case of fitting the old master cylinder and servo unit and purchasing a t piece for the front brakes to allow for the two ports and wheter I need to fit the compensator or not ?
Thanks
Jamie
