I have a 1998 Discovery 3.9 EFI ES, (it's got no mods) with a fully certified LPG system fitted (certificate supplied). It is a single point system with a valve saver system that lubricates the cylinder head valves to stop them running dry. As for the LPG tanks it benefits from having two sill tanks along with two more tanks in place of the original petrol tank holding 150 litres of LPG. The purpose made petrol tank now sits behind the offside rear quarter panel which holds around 30 litres of fuel. Simple start on petrol when cold, drive about 100 yards and flick the gas switch and that's it, it will start on gas all day, when you part up for the night switch to petrol to start again the next day.#
The Discovery itself drives very well with no bangs or clunks. The engine starts and pulls very well and the gear change from the automatic gearbox is smooth.#
Im asking £1200 tho.
