if its a sherpa engine, its a perkins

Could also be the 2.5, known as the the 15J, its essentialy the 12J or 19J whichever way you look at it. Difference is the timing belt cover, its a sheet of tin, and a timing belt can be done in 30mins. Was also put into taxis, hence the modification. However, needs a mod to make it sutible for wading any deeper that the bottom of the timing cover.

Its just the 2.5N/A with a diff timing cover, it really is nothing different. The problem is, and I will have to sort this, that if I want to wade deeper than the base of the timing belt cover, I will have to seal it up etc. Also the way its made you can take it off without removing anything else, it just swings down on the crank.

It was put in the Austin taxi aswell.

Nice to know for the school runs...:)

is that why all the frogs go to the south coast or come over here?

Now I know for a fact that the majority of the French go to Western France for their jollies ,your more likely to bump into someone from Brum down here on their holidays.....

at least we get all the burds who come down to get off with surfer dudes then find out that most of them are gay and so they start looking for alternatives among the locals - ask my son, he has a great time in the summer!

can't think of a witty response eh? have to resort to editing my posting... you are a brummie!

good point..
anyway, i'm off to get me head down for a couple of hours, before i have to go and pick the kids up.
Merry Christmas.
