Evening all,
Need to fit some new shocks on the 90 and have a fairly new set of pro-comp 2" over ones in shed..
Will this work without problems with standard springs..?

They may bottom out before the axle hits the bump stops but extended bump stops would prevent this. If the shocks have internal bump stops it probably wouldn’t be a problem anyway....
They will also allow the axle to droop further and so allowing the springs to become dislocated. Relocation cones would prevent this. I have considered longer shocks on my Ninety as I’m not a huge fan of lifts but the additional droop could come in handy sometimes.....maybe......perhaps....
You could try the rears as they only take minutes to change. See what, if anything, happens.

You won’t get additional droop just fitting longer shocks, you need the longer spring also. As one side of axle drops other side has to tuck into arch, without the longer springs there isn’t room for any extra tuck
 
You could fit one and test, remove the bump stop, jack up that corner and if axle reaches past about half the depth of the bump stop if it were there you should be good. You are checking the shock does not bottom out inside as axle/spring reaches compression. The other way will give some more axle movement. You do not need longer springs to get a bit more droop, the weight of the axle is enough but as callisr says you may need relocators.
