I was starting to clean my freebie this morning when I discovered 2 cables that seemingly go nowhere.

The first was under the front seats:

The second was under the glovebox:

Anyone know where these are meant to go?

2001 FL1 GS petrol K series

Front seat one could be for the aux power socket in the rear of the console (for back seats).

No, I don't think that's it. The power socket works as I have my heated seat covers plugged into it.

I'm trying to find a wiring diagram so I can chase it down, but thanks for the reply!

Well I still dont know what the plug hanging down from behind the glovebox is, but after removing the glovebox itself, I found a retaining clip behind it on the A post. I clipped it back up and its now not hanging down into the passenger footwell as its done for the 11 years I've owned her...

Heated seat(?) and maybe something cruise control-y?
Heated Cruise Control for slow speed around Gay Village. When you pick up a punter normally the leather chaps expose their backsides. According to Land Rover Rave you are meant to carry a good supply of heated condoms and ky jelly.

Yes, it has been covered on this forum, I believe you need the ecu, mirrors, change the switch and, more tricky, the wiring for the door from the connector inside the kick panel to the mirror.

Just done a quick search, and am looking through the results right now, thanks Andy!
