A chap i know is selling some +2" orange springs (scorpion racing) and +2" shocks (de carbon - delphi) all brand new they were bought for a customer of his who then decided he didnt want them fitting. What would they be worth before i ask how much he wants for them?

Scrapiron racing stuff is overpriced and of dubious quality. I aint a fan of DeCarbon shocks either, so personally, I wouldn't pay more than £100 for that lot.
After all, you can get a TerraFirma kit for £250.
Don't forget you'll need more money for wide yoke props, castor correction etc etc.

Set of springs is about £100, set of shocks about the same again, plus about £50 for vat and delivery.

If you want to do it all properly it will cost more like £500 though. Goodrich SS +2" brake hose kit isnt a bad idea eather, there cheap from paddocks and you realy knowtis the difference.

how would you notice the difference if you fit +2" brake hoses?

Used to have goodrich braided hoses on me bikes. They definitely made a difference dunno if it'd be noticeable on a landy though.

and they are 2" longer to allow for the extra 2" you have extended the springs by. some times (when a lift kit is fitted with standard flexis) when the axle has dropped to its lowest point the brake flexis can get a bit 'tight'.
