Hi all,

For a 2 inch lift, i have read that the front springs are in fact +1 inch..is this true?

And also does anyone have the exact spring length of the +1 inch and +2 inch springs please?

Thanks in advance.

When I was looking and finding the number of options amazing and so many ideas from people.

I spoke to Gwyn Lewis, his website is geat and his advice was worth listening to.

I fitted Old Man Emu springs and shock absorbers, +2 lift.
The ride is great, a smooth ride and flowing instead of hard and jarring like the old stuff.

No such thing. There must be 100 or 200 different springs from loads of different makers. There are also many ways to lift a vehicle, and therefore many different spring lengths you can run.

Yes i understand that, but i believe that when you buy the ‘kit’ the front springs are shorter than the rear ones. I went tbe route of purchasing all the springs and shocks seperately. I am worried i have bought the wrong front ones as it doesnt sit right, it appears higher than the back

It would depend entirely on the "kit" in question. You can have short stiff springs and long soft springs. Both might give the same lift or none at all.
