Well got the Disco back today with it's sparkling new cylinder head and a new fuel regulator and the damage was £1908  the guys down at landranger did a grand job and would highly recomend them. On the down side while it was in there the local gob****es from the area probably after running out of glue or special brew decided to chuck bricks over the fence at the cars, mine ending up with a nice "**** off" dent on the pillar between the rear window and the back door  credit to the guys at landranger are putting it in the bodyshop on monday for me. So now it's empty'd the piggy bank for me the bastard can repay me by towing this for the rest of it's life(see Link)

Same thing happened to our Disco, some bastards threw a quarter brick or similar at ours and we ended up with a nice dent on the bonnet, it was taken to a bodyshop the following week and we got them to respray a dodgey bit on the bumper for our troubles!

Elddis Avanti 636, nice van.

Flintshire do a "own version" of the Avantis' with some nice touches on them.
I looked at them alst year before settling on an Avondale Argente 550/6. Although ive sold that now and bought an Abbey Aventura instead.

i agree with you sqwirral about the guys at landranger deeside, neil and his team are a great bunch and very good at what they do. as you stated the only down side is the location of their gaff. its not the best neighbourhood is it ;)

They did a grand job on the head yella it's now a 99 bottom end with a 2004/05 top end conversion it cost a bit more than was quoted but after giving it a run up to newcastle this weekend you can certainly tell the difference especially the torque, as for the caravan lenny I was in flintshire caravans on friday and they are doing a very nice Elddis 636 with 3 grands worth of extra's for just short of 15k it's a nice van but the layout is not what we require so the hunt is still on.

Ye i bought mine from Flintshire 2 months ago, found them to be pretty decent to be honest, and i dont do salesmen normally.
Ive gone from a twin axle 6 to a single axle 6.
Big mistake, the single tows ****e compared to twin, so i dont think the single will last for more than a year before we trade it in.

We went to sunlight caravans the other week lenny and found them to be up they're own arses nobody was interested we had a shed load of cash to spend and walked out with nothing sod em flintshire are getting our business mate graham was a great help and after speaking to him today about the layout we are going back down on sunday but first we are nipping up to barrons they are doing the next model up the crusader (I think) for the same price but it's whether they have one in I believe they are like rocking horse ****

When I was working on St Asaph ave I went in there and seen some nice big vans I think they were Hobby's which were to big for the disco I found out you need a 3.5 ton van to pull them but nice vans though
