Hello friends,
I am new to forum and recently I've bought 2 freelanders for offroad, 2 different tips of engine, one is gasoline 18k16 from 2000 year and the other is 2003 TD4 2.0 diesel engine.
The first one(18k16) temperature gauge is not working and fans is not working as well(only if I power on the AC, and diesel engine also fans are not working and temperature gauge is not increase after 90 *C.
Both models have AC
All fuses are good according to autodata.
I found that old model have an relay for cooling fans but can"t find it and newer model have a relay module in front of the vehicle. but found that relay module is good if it is starts by wire.
Besides, if i unplugg the ect underneath inlet manifold FANS goes high until I stop the car completly.
The new model is ruled by Ecu for the fans and old model is ruled by relay( did not find it)
I do not know how to deal with this, I cannot find anythink on internet solid, just how to make some craftmanship and I do not want this.
I hope someone can clear this foggy situation.
