B. the 2.7 is a bit of a minefield when it comes to rebuilds, general opinion is do not bother and buy an old Jag and use the engine from that, its cheaper plus you can test drive it.
Pretty much any company that says they can rebuild yours is not telling you the whole truth, if you find someone/company who says they can, google them to death, most people go on price alone, and predictably they end up dissapointed/ripped off or with an engine that will fail again very soon.
Plus as the newest 2.7 is 10 years old it might not be financially viable.
If the engine has just plain worn out (unlikely) you may get lucky, but if it has died for any mechanical reason dont go there.

Oddly enough I was considering that company but did a google search on them (also known as Equipetable Engines) and that's how I ended up registering on LandyZone!! the google search found a link to a thread on here slating them.
I'm also looking at a company more local to me in Cardiff (Engine centre.com). Quite a bit more expensive but they seem to know what they are talking about. RAC approved too.
Anyone had any experience with them?

Dont get sucked into the RAc approved bit, like many things it means diddly.
I notice they enginecentre says in their main page they do price matching, that would be a massive red light for me!
What is wrong with your current engine?
I was driving at around 60-70 and the oil light started flickering. Slowed down as I was on a dual carriageway and couldn't stop till I got to a lay-by about half a mile away.
the engine light went off and i stopped the engine and checcked oil level - OK
Started the engine and it was lumpy and noisy so shut off quickly.
Got it towed to a garage and they reckon the oil pump has failed and caused engine damage due to oil starvation.

I would say that is a lost cause.
If you can diy it might be worth pullling a few bits off for a look see, but 1/2 mile with no oil wont have done it any favours.
