Hi is there someone that can tell me where the spider unit hides on my p38 .the testbook says wire fault or spider unit cheers pete

Does a P38 have a spider unit? Microcat is down so can't check parts lists.

Ok the spider unit is apparently the alarm ECU fitted to Discos. The P38 alarm is handled by the BECM so it appears T4 doesn't know what it's on about. Do you not have the EKA code? If the fob sync has been lost you can't resync fob to car until alarm state has been cleared with EKA code.

hi i do not know the eka code but this fault dose no happen always sometimes is all ok thanks

Spider unit is Disco, BECM on P38. Check for wet carpet in the drivers foot well.
